Our Story

We are a family-owned meat producer whose primary goal is to serve the community with quality meats. The name, Triple J-D came from the first letters of the owners’ names, Jeff, Judy, John and Deb.

Jeff and John have known each other most of their lives as they both were born and raised on ranches in Northwest Colorado. Through providential circumstances, both couples began raising Highland Cattle.

The company started in 2019 by providing Highland Beef to Burns the British Pub in Broomfield, Colorado that features a Highland Cattle Burger made with our Highland Beef and authentic Shepherd’s Pie made with our Lamb  https://hilltop-inn.com/burns-pub-and-restaurant/menu/ In 2020 we realized that people wanted to eat more healthy and purchase locally produced quality meats, so we expanded our production and started retail sales to the general public.
